The first ever JoomlaDay Houston was a great success in my book.
First, a big thanks to all the sponsors – without you guys we wouldn’t have had a JDay Houston! See the complete list of sponsors here.
The Microsoft venue was in a convenient location and had plenty of room for everyone. All attendees received a canvas bag with red handles and a black v-neck t-shirt with the JDay Houston full color logo on the front and the sponsors in white on the back. We had a continental breakfast, a Tex-Mex fajita buffet for lunch catered by N’Dulge Catering, and after hours social at the YardHouse in City Centre.
I didn’t get to attend all the sessions, but I enjoyed the ones I did get to attend and heard positive feedback from others about the other sessions. To see a full list of the sessions offered and links to the slides the presenters provided after, please look here.
If you attended my session and wanted to see the slides again, I have them on slideshare and embedded at the end of this article. Half or more of my session is demonstration, but there may be some information that the slides will provide.
